Life + Business Update

Hi beautiful people!

It is 'Fall' here in sunny LA with most days at the ridiculously cold temp of 60 degree Fahrenheit 🥶. Most of you know I am from the frigid city of Chicago 🌆, so yes, I am laughing at myself wearing fuzzy socks and plush sweaters right now😂. I am currently drinking a warm cup of matcha 🍵 with a scoop of ceremonial cacao and a heap of rosewater, heart wide open💚  as can be and decided that now is a good time to give a lil update on what is ever evolving in my life and business.

Some of you are new here, so I will briefly let you know how I get started with my business. (If you are not, feel free to skip to the next paragraph 😚.) I entered my spiritual career as a FT yoga instructor 🧘🏼‍♀️ and led over 10 yoga teacher trainings. It was during this time I realized the pay and physical demand was unsustainable 😓, so I became an Ayurvedic Practitioner doing consulting on the side. The pandemic pushed me to make my LLC official ⭐️, so I started an online coaching business with my friend. We had a gradual start with great success. We grew our IG audience to 10k in 3 years, led a handful of certification programs to become intuitive healers and hosted luxurious ✨ in person experiences like Ayurvedic cooking classes 🍽 and day retreats 💆🏼‍♀️. After 3 years, our business came to a screeching halt 🛑, and I was at a loss on how to move forward. I turned the dial up on my intuitive voice and made the excruciating decision to separate from my good friend and business partner 💔(get the full dets here). This tower moment ignited a major level up ⚡️ where I reinvented my business and stepped in my power in ways 🦁 I never imagined. I evolved my certification program, to become an intuitive healer, having the most signups to date 🥳 and grew my IG audience to 10k in 4 months. Fast forward to today, I still am guiding women to become intuitive healers with my certification program and provide consistent mentorship with my spiritual membership and 1:1 consults. Alrite, now you are all caught up to speed!

I have successfully had my online business for almost 5 years now and to be real with you, I feel lonely 😔. I truly miss in person connections and have been feeling a little blase when I think about re-launching my old virtual programs. As an entrepreneur, recognizing this point in your business is crucial for continued growth and success. Otherwise, if you ignore it, it will only manifest as obstacles and having your business come to a screeching halt 🛑. (Been there done that, no thank you ✌🏼.) I have learned that if I am uninspired by what I am creating, it is time to evolve. However, how is it possible to evolve your business, when your current offerings are solely supporting your income each month? Well, welcome to my greatest challenge of 2022-2023 😩.

What I have been actively manifesting for the past year was having enough financial security to play with my business again 🤑. I am a 1/3 projector so I love trying new things and testing it out. However, there is not much room for freedom when your monthly check relies on what you are creating for your community. In September, I finally manifested the perfect supplemental income opportunity 💰💰. It was such a 'chariot' moment for me, once I finally let go and allowed the universe to gift me what I needed, not what I thought I wanted 🤭. My nervous system is finally reset, I can breathe again and most importantly, I have been able to bring to life the fun, joyous parts of my business again 💕! Here's what I have been cooking up, now that my inner fire is reignited 🔥.

Last week, we just finished our first Ayurvedic Dinner Party in Silverlake! This was a four course meal all centered around Vata Season 🍛, meaning each dish was grounding and nourishing yet easy on the digestive system. My lovely co-host Jaskrit and I did not miss a beat when curating this evening. We set personal intentions, had a dosha bar to customize your dish (an Ayurvedic lovers dream!) and shared infinite laughs 😂 with the most incredibly polite and soul centered humans. I truly want to thank each person who came. The evening was so magical 🦄., I was running on a high for days after.

This was particularly a special event for me, because for the first time in 5 years, I was able to connect with my community face to face 😮. Being a spiritual entrepreneur can feel like you are on a deserted island 🏝 sometimes, especially when everything in your business is virtual 💻. I had been wanting to create opportunities to be more in person for years now. While connecting with all of my incredible clients from different countries brings me a connection I can't explain, I need to be face to face with humans. This was definitely the start of such an exciting new beginning for my business 🥳🤓! For those of you who are still wondering if I am running my virtual certification programs, of course I am! Except, I decided to do a lil uplevel here, so we are having our first in person/virtual training to become an energy healer in LA this January 🎉🎉🔮! When I officially started my business in 2019, the first program I led was a virtual Reiki I + II program. I actually had planned to do this program in person at my yoga studio, but the pandemic forced me to create it online. I had soooo many resistances 😤 (i.e. who will come? does this work over zoom? am I crazy?) but with the additional online training I took to certify healers virtually, I had just enough confidence to run it. To this day, I look back on my first cohort with such awe 🥺and respect. During their reiki attunements, I will never forget the tears streaming down each woman's face as they all shared similar visual, healing experiences 😭. Thus, verifying that we indeed are all connected no matter the distance 💕.

A few months ago, the universe gently whispered 😇 that it was time to bring my most prized certification program in person again. You bet I still have all the resistances swirling in my mind again 😩. And you better believe that I am 10x more excited to bring this shiny, new version of this program to all of you!

I share how I am evolving myself and my business with you all, because I think it is essential for our success as spiritual entrepreneurs ✨. What I hear the most from spiritual entrepreneurs is that they just want consistency. But truly the only thing that is consistent is going to be following your intuition. Part of having an intuitive business is listening to the gentle nudges to make lil tweaks and shifts that happen before your mentor or the next hot coaching program can tell you so 😚. It can be damn near impossible to listen to your intuition with all the noise we have today. Instagram influencers shouting at you to 'be intuitive' but also 'have your shit together' 😔, 'work hard, but not too hard' 😤, 'put yourself first, but also be selfless' 😏. The one thing we can always rely on no matter what is the voice within 😇.
